TELEVISION!

• Mad Men is over for this season, so now on Sundays from 10 to 11pm I just cry in my room.
• No one watches Lie to Me because they think it's just a wannabe House, and yes, it is. But that's not all it is. In my opinion, lies and reading expressions are more interesting than medical mysteries. I've had enough Grey's and House to last me a lifetime! Anyway, this past Monday's Lie to Me was really great, and people should give it a chance. I'm done now. (Did you know Tim Roth is in it?)
• I adore Hugh Laurie but House is going down the drain. Whatever, Cameron can leave, but in no way will I believe Chase would let her go. There is no way he would stay with House. Thirteen is a bore. Foreman is a bore. Cuddy and Lucas is contrived and weird and I don't buy it. Why do I watch again? For Wilson, I guess. And Taub.
• Glee is my life, period. If I had to pick one song to listen to for the rest of my life, it very well may be their version of Somebody to Love. Noah Puckerman is scrumptious. Dianna Agron is inhumanly pretty. Lea Michele is infinitely talented. And I just love all of the characters and alkd; jfakl;sdfj
• I'm excited that Andy and Erin on The Office are becoming the new, more purely comedic, Jim and Pam! Too cute. I love them both. This season's Dunder-Mifflin-Is-Going-Bankrupt-Again storyline doesn't sound like it will be as exciting as last season's Michael Scott Paper Company, but we'll see! I have faith in this show. Mindy's webisodes are gold, too.
• Modern Family makes me laugh out loud and cry (inside) every single episode. Ugh. I can't stand it. I CAN'T STAND HOW IT MAKES ME EMOTE SO. My mom watches it too, and she tells me her favorite characters are Manny and Cam. This show just makes me feel so good and warm inside!
• I have high hopes for V because 1) I love aliens, 2) I love Morena Baccarin, 3) I love any show with FBI agents investigating the paranormal/extraterrestrial, 4) Alan Tudyk CAN'T be dead. Why would they waste him like that? I'm not looking forward to the long hiatus coming up, though.
• I watch FlashFoward mainly for the lols. I admit it. The lols and John Cho. I don't see anything wrong with this. Also, Joseph Fiennes IS Nic Cage, saving the world and shit.
• Parks and Recreation is becoming my new FAVORITE show. It's so consistently funny this season (I've laughed every single episode) and I'm so happy each character is settling in and getting to explore backstory and such. Tom! Leslie! Ron Swanson!!! Oh, and I wanted to cry for Jerry and his "murinal." Sadface! And: One day I'll marry my very own Mark.
• Fringe is my favorite right now. Absolutely. Not only do I have a full-blown crush on Peter Bishop (and by transitive property, Josh Jackson), but I think Anna Torv is beautiful and John Noble's Walter is impeccable and hilarious. They are my two favorite Aussies. Whenever something gross happens onscreen, like a head exploding, or a brain melting, or a chimera bat-monster on the hunt in Boston, I smile. I love the gore! Fringe is officially my new X-Files, which is my First Favorite Television Series Ever.
• 30 Rock is the shit. It deserves its Emmys. The first few episodes this season were lacking (and too political, in my opinion) but the last two have been hilarious! Tina Fey can do no wrong. Love it.
• Community is my favorite (how many times have I said that in this post so far?). I adore ALL the characters. They're all so well-cast and naturally funny. Troy and Abed are the best bromance of all time - I never tire of their during-the-credits antics. SO FUNNY! Also, this last episode has made me ship Annie and Jeff. Too cute. Mmmm, Jeff.
• I don't know if I could love Mac, Dennis, Dee, Charlie, and Frank any more than I do now. I've watched the previous seasons within a week, and I rewatch them whenever I have time. They're literally the funniest group I have ever seen on tv. FAVORITE. I love their cat humor. I love Charlie's illiteracy, and the fact that he is the gang's wildcard. I love Mac's shirts with their sleeves cut off, and his karate moves. I love Dennis' vanity and his love of the duster. I love Frank and his gun. I love Dee when she kicks when the guys make fun of her. I love Artemis, and Rickety Cricket, and the McPoyles. I love It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
• I mourn Dollhouse. It was such an amazing show with a stellar cast and intriguing premise. However, as much as I hate that it's over, I can't help but be superexcitedyay for Joss Whedon's next project, whatever it may be. Hahahhah. I'd follow him off a cliff.
• Yes, I still watch Grey's Anatomy too. And I don't regret it, because it's been amazing recently. This is probably because Meredith and Izzie have been AWOL. They did a Rashamon-styled episode, and it really turned the show around - the episodes since then have been wonderful. The Mercy Westers are annoying, but I certainly don't mind Jesse Williams being around all the time! Owen and Cristina are still my fav. Overall, Grey's will be fine as long as it keeps in this new direction!

i recently acquired a 1" button maker! so you can give me things to put on them. you can send me things via lj or whatever, or at school. drawings are best at 1.3" or so, but don't cut them out yourself. if you send them to me online, then i can alter them on photoshop.

i can't stand how completely lazy and stupid i am! it's 3:53am on sunday and i haven't started my semester project - due monday - that i've had for over a month and a half. right now i should be finished with everything but that isn't happening because i haven't even begun my research yet. i don't understand why i can't start.
